Our industry relies on strong morale and goodwill. Communication is a major and simple tool for motivation, which can improve morale of the employees. At St John of God Accord we understand how inappropriate communication among employees, managers and leadership teams can be a major cause of conflict and low morale at work. To ensure better performance, improve motivation and integrating the interests of all staff we take huge efforts to keep people informed through communiques, online discussion boartds and newsletters.
Our organisation is complete with work reports, meeting notes, written reflections and more. Accord relies heavily on an effective and speedy communication policy and procedure to avoid delays, misunderstandings, confusion or distortions. Most of all the organisation is driven to achieve ongoing harmony among all the concerned people and service streams. Our main newsletter, Rapport, which comes out every 2 months, aims to communicate clear, purposeful and concise stories that formally recognise the efforts of our staff. Rapport provides an opportunity for all to share their experiences through both writing and photos.
